A Hyur tossed into the Brume after the with the danger always afoot outside Ishguard's walls, plucked out by a company in need of her healing talents, to now well after things have been set into motion a functioning busybody who's made a place for herself.

Features:
A shapely young woman who either smells of her rolandberry (strawberry) and lilac soap, or gunpowder, grease and a myriad of herbs. She’s a homely face, almost all of her teeth were nice, clean and straight. One next to her left upper canine was turned just slightly as well as a couple in the bottom front. Just enough to be noticeable if one caught her smiling, which is rather often. She’s not a perfect beauty, but if one took a moment to know her, or caught her in the right light they’d lose themselves in the beauty that seemed to seep from within.

Character notes:
She's a gun enthusiast, loves and almost needs to tinker. She can't wait to get her hands onto anything with gears! Allagan and Garlean tech doesn't come as easily to her as the traditional stuff. She's very kind, capable and yes is a war veteran at a young age. Most scars are internal, and will only come out in a romantic setting and that mantle was taken for her cannon character.

History

Alyne’s family moved from Coerthas early on in life after it was iced over. Not quite Ishguard proper, but around. Her mother and father both taking up arms to fight back against what they could until it cost her mother her life. Spurring them to move to Ishguard proper, her father choosing to help with the restoration. Of course, their family fell to the same fate as anyone in the Brume and were all found wanting.This is one of the reasons Alyne was so handy, because every single member of her family, all siblings included, worked in whatever they could to make ends meet. It was never enough, of course, that story is the same for just about anyone of the Brume. The Barlow’s no different than the rest.Alyne did show profinite talent with her conjury, and had been assigned to a female night who worked alongside her husband and their company. Her job wasn't easy, even aside from Alyne having been taken on at such a tender age. She’d a multitude of talents, had a brilliant and curious mind that allowed her to pick up and excel at nearly everything she’d set her mind to. She acted as a squire to the female knight, the caretaker for the animals, would mend anything save metal, made basic potions, and from one of the other squires started taking on a bit of tinkering and her interest in machinery and firearms that later brought into her taking on becoming a decent Machinist.She’d learned to fight alongside their company, ever molding into a soldier. So when the abrupt end to the war happened… Alyne was left to what came next with the most bitter of tastes in her mouth.+Her story had not yet ended, as she’d travel and flourish in her own right. Growing into a fine young woman, earning her way to fund her own place. Her families as well. She’d a small business she was more than happy to keep herself busy with, and was well liked. Alyne was beautiful, smart, kind, but all too unavailable as she seemed to hold everyone at arms length to build and grow as if it were the only way of life. Unless, there's a person or a group that dares to break the mold she's made for herself.+Important note: Strong hidden elements of trauma in her past. Please know if you are looking to have your character close to mine, this will be something that comes up. Extreme cases of psychological, physical and other abuse that goes beyond most peoples comforts. Discretion is advised. If this isn't something you wish to experience in your writing, please feel free to reach out for other characters.
